Recruiting - Operations and Finance Manager Position: Finance and Operations Manager Date Required By: Immediately Job Profile: Mott MacDonald (www.mottmac.com ) is an international management, engineering and development consultancy. The requirement has opened within Mott MacDonald’s office in Blantyre, Malawi (Mott MacDonald Blantyre Ltd) for an experienced finance and operations manager with qualifications (B.Com, preferably ACCA), experience (minimum 2 employed work years) and expertise in managing project and company finances and general office logistics and operations. This position exists to assist MMB Ltd in the effective and efficient delivery of its contract with the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development under the Shire River Basin Management Program (Phase-I) Project; and to ensure that it comes in on, preferably under, budget. The contract still has 2 years to run (ends in January 2018) and the successful candidate will work with the Director / Team Leader to manage the accounts, finances and operations of both the project and the local company. An Assistant Finance and Operations Manager has already been recruited and the successful candidate will also be expected to work closely with this individual, as well as to manage drivers, administrators, cleaners and guards.
