VACANCY: Travel Consultants to join a new Pan African travel agency

An excellent opportunity has arisen for Travel Consultants with experience in providing excellent customer service to join a new Pan African travel agency setting up its 1st national office in Blantyre. Our Client is looking for enthusiastic professionals who believe in delivering exceptional customer service with a passion. The incumbent must be an experienced travel industry professional with strong sales and customer service skills, along with the ability to work well autonomously. Role of the Travel Consultant: > Handling enquiries by phone and email, from a wide variety of customers > Converting telephone and email enquiries to bookings > Booking all travel requirements including flights, hotels and ancillary products > Offering exceptional customer service with each enquiry > Offering expert advice and personal recommendations where appropriate > Utilising strong sales skills to ‘close’ each sale, where possible > Working to achieve sales targets > Delivering exceptional customer service > Working efficiently within a fast paced, travel sales industry Skills required for the role: > Age between 30 – 40 Years > Previous travel sales experience- At least 12 month previous experience in a similar position > Ideally, experience of dealing with a variety of travel products > Proven sales track record and experience working to targets > Strong customer service skills > Driven and disciplined with the ability to work well autonomously > Proven sales track record from within the travel sector > Sales driven and target orientated > Ideally, good knowledge across a mix of travel industry products > Good attention to detail > Strong PC Skills & Travel System Knowledge - Including Microsoft Office packages and knowledge of travel industry systems such as Galileo and Amadeus If you’re interested in this Travel Sales Consultant opportunity send your CV and Cover Letter by email to: b.likoswe@gmail.com
