Easter in South Luangwa National Park

South Luangwa is widely viewed to be one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world, and not without reason. The concentration of animals around the Luangwa River, and its oxbow lagoons, is among the most intense in Africa with visitors seeing lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and even wild dogs on an almost daily basis! At only 5hours away from Lilongwe, it has long been a popular weekend escape for all the residents in the capital. This said, with Easter comes 4 days off, and the perfect opportunity to make it across the border to experience game viewing at its best. Add a Land & Lakes Easter special in the mix and it's the perfect recipe for a stress-free getaway to the valley!
